Marcy Pasternak, Ph.D. and Sharon Ryan Montgomery, Psy.D. presented a webinar to the New Jersey Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics. Hosted by Overcoming Barriers the presentation was intended to educate pediatricians about best practices of working with families where a child is resisting contact with a parent.
In consultation with Mary Ann LoFrumento, M.D. the OCB experts developed the content, presented it live to a group of pediatricians and it was recorded for future viewing. OCB plans to provide the training webinar to other state chapters.
Pediatricians often encounter strained family situations and it is imperative for them to have the tools to support them.
